I first met Kelli in 2017 when she dropped her card and ResortBrokers’ magazine into the reception at the Alexander Cameron Suites at Penola. Knowing that at some time in the future I would be interested in needing an agent I rang her and suggested I would like to meet her onsite for an informal discussion. She and Trudy Crooks came, had an inspection, stayed the night and we had dinner and a good discussion. Later in the year, our group decided that the time was right to test the market and Kelli had been in regular contact. I invited ResortBrokers and three other agents to submit marketing and sale plans. As ResortBrokers were not well known in the local industry, I selected another well-credentialed agent to handle the sale for a fixed period of three months. We had limited enquiry, two inspections and no great enthusiasm of interest. Kelli was still ringing on a regular basis, not pushy but genuinely interested in our progress. I then released the sale to open agency and Kelli through her enthusiasm and professional expertise showed considerable skill in identifying potential buyers and we had a revolving door of inspections. Kelli handled all enquires diplomatically and professionally, especially when we had three inspections in two days. Her skills in finding interested buyers were outstanding and her management of the sale process was impeccable. Her response to, and management of, potential buyers was totally professional, friendly, timely and with respect. She made the sale process a pleasant experience, especially for a first timer like me.
