"My sales approach is always focussed on the client. By prioritising their goals and satisfaction, I aim to build lasting relationships and foster loyalty. I focus on cultivating strong connections and communication, ensuring that each client feels valued and supported throughout their experience."

Leah Bursztynowicz joined ResortBrokers in 2024 with a wealth of sales and marketing experience from the tourism, hospitality and finance sectors.

“My sales approach is always focussed on the client,” says Leah. “By prioritising their goals and satisfaction, I aim to build lasting relationships and foster loyalty. I focus on cultivating strong connections and communication, ensuring that each client feels valued and supported throughout their experience.”

From 2013 to 2020, Leah worked in the thriving North Queensland tourism and hospitality industry, first as national sales manager for a leading adventure tour company and later as the sales, marketing and events manager for a prominent Cairns nightspot.

In 2020, with many businesses closing due to the pandemic, Leah seized the opportunity to transition into the finance and insurance sector, earning Cert IV qualifications in financial services and Tier 2 in general insurance. She then took on the role of business manager at one of Queensland's largest automotive dealerships, where she managed consumer and commercial loan applications, insurance and warranty sales for both new and used vehicles across multiple financing channels.

“In the finance industry, adherence to stringent regulations and compliance is essential,” says Leah. “In my new role as a broker, I plan to apply my finance expertise and sales skills to complement the process. This will ensure regulatory compliance while making the client experience as smooth as possible, resulting in greater satisfaction and stronger relationships.”

Now with ResortBrokers, Leah is committed to serving North Queensland. After nearly two decades in Cairns, Leah considers herself a local. “My journey started in my early twenties as a dive instructor, which naturally led me to Cairns,” says Leah. “Just like many visitors who fall in love with the region, I found that the incredible lifestyle here makes it too hard to leave!”

Outside work, Leah is deeply devoted to her family. On weekends, you’ll often find her and her husband cheering on their teenage son at AFL games or enjoying outdoor adventures, including fishing and camping.
